I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming little café and B&B, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember! I decided to start my day with a classic English breakfast, and it certainly did not disappoint! The eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon was crispy, and the homemade baked beans added a lovely touch. They also have an extensive selection of pastries and cakes, and I couldn’t resist trying a slice of the lemon drizzle cake. It was light, zesty, and simply divine! The staff here are genuinely friendly and attentive, which really enhances the overall experience. I had a lovely chat with the barista while waiting for my coffee, and it was clear that they truly care about their customers. The only minor downside was that the service was a bit slow during peak hours, but honestly, the quality of the food and the atmosphere made it worth the wait. I also peeked into one of the guest rooms and was impressed by how spacious and tastefully decorated they were. It felt like a little home away from home! What a lovely surprise I stumbled upon! This place is a hidden gem. The coffee is fantastic, and the ambience is just perfect for a lazy afternoon. I had a scone with clotted cream that was absolutely delightful! I would just suggest maybe adding a few more vegan options to the menu. Overall, a great spot worth visiting!
